A Gorgeous Bonita Bay Remodel   "There are so many decisions when you renovate. The best choice, for us, was to contract with Green Mountain Builders. We were not easy clients, as there were many moving parts. Green Mountain Builders were patient, informed, and professional. "During the process, we received daily updates; we always knew the next step. Our questions were addressed in a timely manner and respectfully. In addition, as we were nearing completion, our manager noticed issues that we would have missed. "Any idea or issue was considered, addressed and resolved. Our Construction Manager, Bill Colborn, was responsive, kind and accommodating. Through every step of the process, we were made aware of the cost, helping us maintaining our budget. "We are so happy with our initial decision to trust GMB." - Don and Susan Young, Bonita Bay     Green Mountain Builders remodeled this beautiful, custom home’s kitchen in Bonita Bay. The kitchen was opened to the family room by removing interior walls. This created an exquisite space, featuring an expansive, granite-surfaced island that comfortably accommodates six and enhanced with wainscoting, to provide a clean, finished appearance. This transitional remodel includes wide plank, brushed oak flooring that transitions smoothly from the kitchen and breakfast nook to the family room. In addition, the kitchen offers ten-foot-high, wide-style, Shaker perimeter cabinets, quartz perimeter countertops, a porcelain tile backsplash and custom lighting. Appliances include a Bosch convection oven and microwave, gas cooktop and stainless steel column refrigerator/freezer.   Transitional Kitchens are Trending This Year   What is a Transitional Kitchen? A transitional kitchen borrows elements from or references styles of the past and combines them with contemporary features to produce something new and fresh. The beauty of this type of kitchen is that you can decide how you want to mix and match the past and the present, so that the design expresses who you are and how you live! Transitional designs are somewhere in between traditional and modern styles; they bridge the gap between the two, borrowing from each aesthetic. It yields an environment that is warm, welcoming, and unfussy but incorporates classic components. Most of our kitchen remodels would be described as transitional. Some read very modern, others more traditional—yet they are all totally different from each other. A transitional kitchen hints of historical design elements in combination with modern and current kitchen fashion to produce something original and contemporary.         “Green Mountain, headed by Tony Persichilli, remodeled both the inside of our home as well as the entire lanai area. They did a fabulous job on both. Tony and his team were most helpful in coming up with ideas for us to consider which made our home even more special. One of the best parts of working with Green Mountain is that the team stays with you long after the project is completed, because no matter how well the job is [...]
